ASN Upendo Village Marks World AIDS Day with Community Outreach
ASN Upendo Village commemorated World AIDS Day with free VCT, nutrition support, tree planting, and community empowerment activities in Naivasha.
On 1st December 2024, ASN Upendo Village joined the global community in commemorating World AIDS Day with a series of events.
The day brought together clients, families, staff, and community members to reflect on progress made in the fight against HIV, while reaffirming our commitment to care, dignity, and empowerment.
Highlights of the day included:
- Free HIV Counseling & Testing (VCT) for community members.
- Health talks on positive living, stigma reduction, and treatment adherence.
- Nutrition support distribution for families living with HIV.
- Tree planting activity symbolizing growth, resilience, and sustainability.
- Testimonials from beneficiaries whose lives have been transformed through our programs.
Speaking during the event, our leadership emphasized the importance of continued support, education, and access to healthcare. “Every step we take together strengthens the fight against HIV and brings hope to our community.”
The event was a reminder of our vision—to be a haven of love and care to people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS in Kenya.
Together, we can end stigma, save lives, and build a healthier future.
