ASN Upendo Village is a faith-based community organization in Naivasha, Kenya, dedicated to bringing hope, health, and dignity to people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. We have supported thousands of families through holistic programs that address healthcare, nutrition, education, psychosocial support, income generation and environmental care. At our Dispensary, patients receive life-saving HIV treatment and care, maternal and child health services, and community outreach support (Dental & Lab services). Our Nutrition Program provides supplements and training in kitchen gardening, while the Education Sponsorship Program ensures orphans and vulnerable children access school and mentorship. We empower families through income-generating activities, including dairy goat farming, poultry, and kitchen gardens. Fountain Valley water bottling plant subsidises the programs. These initiatives not only sustain households but also strengthen the organization’s long-term impact.
From the time they received the first beehive up to date, they have managed to purchase extra 11 beehives.
Years of Experience
Founded in 2003, ASN Upendo Village was born from a vision of love and compassion. “Upendo” means love in Swahili, and love is our driving force behind everything we do. Inspired by the Gospel values, we walk alongside people infected and affected by HIV and AIDS, restoring respect, dignity, hope, and self-reliance. From our Dispensary to our Nutrition, Education, Psychosocial support, and Income-Generating programs, every service reflects Christ’s teaching of love in action. Like the tree planted by streams of water (Psalm 1:3), our mission is to nurture lives, enabling individuals and families to grow strong and fruitful despite life’s challenges. Today, we serve thousands annually—offering care, empowerment, and the embrace of community. At ASN Upendo Village, love is not just a word—it is life transformed.
